OK all you bargain shoppers.
There is a minx on EBAY that has met its reserve at 10,000 and has 6 hours left.

Wonder if the seller guarantee's 65-70 mph, as advertised?? me thinks about 10-12 mph over-stated for a basic 260hp package...

J

would hate to get it home, and find out it only went 55...

I corresponded with the owner (Don)early on.The boat is one of the Limited Edition"s.He said there is a plaque on the boat stating what # it is.The strange thing is my LTD is an 1987 and this one 1986.Evidently the Limited Edition"s must have strattled the yr..I wonder how many different models were made and how many 22c"s ?

Ok Ok Just how many can you work on? Lots of luck with the latest! Lets see that makes three in about 5-6 weeks correct? You need a super long trailer maybe an 80 footer for the next get together, there are lots of volenteers to check out your handy work! You can't drive them all by yourself :D :D :D

Bill, my Stage 2 aluminum head 818 hp 535 Buick weighs about 70# more than a steel headed 350 Chevy...

Problem is, no marine exhaust manifolds for a Buick Stage 2 head exist...and there isn't a bellhousing for a BOPC pattern either.

If there was....LOOK OUT !!!

J

How about a 700 hp V-6 4.5 liter Buick GN turbo motor in an 18C with Bravo.. eek!

Now in the here after we used to use 7075ST 1/2 thick and make our own adapter plates and hub spacers, the heck with marine exhaust a nice twisty set of over the transom would be in order!

Ken,

Dunno 'bout finding out the #'s on the LE Minx....
It's got a full cover on it, all the way down to the water line... hangs about 10' off the bay.

after I get a new motor, and the boat back in the water, I'll try to get some info... I've been trying for almost 3 years to catch someone out back that speaks english... no success yet!

Jim (Buizilla) drop me an email, and we'll meet out at the airport, and you can check out the EFI stuff, plus 2 - 4 bolt blocks.

This minx looks like a good deal. I have a 383 stroker at the moment in my minx and it goes pretty well. Fresh water cooled, roller cam, rockers and lifters.

That makes 5 on the east coast? Good job whoever pics that up.

Deleama, I think that 383 is calling your name. Go for it and you will not be disappionted.. :)
