I never had a V-Drive, but I do have a turbocharged boat and car.

Scott,
I restored a 1966 Stevens V- Drive back in
1985. Still have it. I don't know what
you need but could help. I'll e-mail you my
land line #.

Later,

Scott: What brand of V-Drive do you have, and what do you need to know? If I can't help you, I know who can. Check this guy out. He's close and his work is second to none!:

I got hold of a 16 foot plywood SK boat many years ago that had an aluminum V drive with nice looking web patern coming out from the bearing bosses. It was water cooled when I got it but I put a big oil cooler in and plumbed into the engine circut cooled it that way to keep the salt out. It ran pretty cool never had a problem with some pretty good pony's hooked to it damn if I can remember the make.
