Well i guess this is the kind of friggin crap you get when you give a dumb engineer a little money, a few books, all kinds of online micro fiche and Definitely TOO MANY TOOLS.... and i didn't even loose any fingers!

First you have to begin with a foundation....

http://www.donzi.net/photos/jaroot103.jpg

which of course never works and needs to be "adjusted" (did i actually do this??? eek! )

http://www.donzi.net/photos/jaroot101.jpg

and then of course you look at the part that began the whole ordeal... man it just isn't quite "black enough".... soooooooooo.... you HAVE TO make it blacker... (i LOVE the smell of PPG in the morning wink )

http://www.donzi.net/photos/jaroot100.jpg

Then after all of the work and headaches and flying wrenches across the shop.... you finally whip it's arse... and WHALA...

have to hand a big thanks to GeneD for the drive and a few others for putting such silly ideas into my head... :D

technical article to soon follow scot....

I'm not sure Jamie, but it looks like you got a couple of nuts missing and/or loose. Oh, looks like a loose trim ram too.

James.

How about giving us more of a description of what we are looking at. A tech article on the swap would be cool.

Jamie,Is the John Deer engine swap donor in the background the reason for such a low rev limit? Just kidding, looks great, hope to see it run at AOTH III. Maybe bum a ride. PS got the pkg.
Thanks Jim.
