I found this hidding in a back lot out by me, it looks a bunch worse than it really is. It looks to be fairly well built and of some interest to a buddy of mine. We are trying to identify it. It looks as if it may have had Eatons at one time, the transom shows of atleast two mods! Damn I have finally figured out hoe to do this PHOTO STUFF! Yipeee!

Those cabin windows remind me of the Donzi Black Widow hull. There was a 30' model and a 24'. From the hull top on up though who knows. Someone's own personel thoughts on rebuilding a good hull?

These were built in the late 70's , at the time there were several on Lake Winnipesaukee, I haven't seen one in years. I believe they were twin engined. They did have a larger cabin super structure, another level / flybridge.

M.O.P,
It's funny you should post that pic. There is one here by me. It looks pretty much in the same condition. I'll stop by this week and see if I can find any info.

What kind of holes are they? Eaton? Kaama? OMC?

I am keeping this one under my hat, my problem is justifying dumping 30k into a boat. I may just do it not sure, had to put off building in Costa Rica with new venture I got involved in. Maybe a winter thing! Blew my mind a couple of months ago, a friend of mine picked up a 26 Whaleback for 2k still had one good motor, some not to bad hull stuff etc. Now that I would have killed for, a pair of new 8.1 380's and those straight out whirlie giggers (ARNESON) I miss having a cabin to get lusty in!

P.S. for Chris! My experiance with Eaton like many is weak. Did have one and worked on a couple, the hole looks like it may be. Its not like any OMC I've seen. Another old timer looked at it with me thought it was Eaton also.

MB I think its a state side boat, the bottom is quite different on the Smuggler with the strakes running straight rather than following the hull shape. I seen this done on a few others and wonder if the lift in a head sea is better but doesn't look as good.

Check it out.

MB Arts got the cruiser version and is going with twin outboards on a bracket(Which he is still hunting for). Did you get a full tour of his toy shed? Got some real rare trucks and boat stuff. Check the drive on 295 on the Smuggler site, Andy has one wrapped in blankets up north.
