My current insurance company has just raised price for insurance on my 1999 22ZX (considerably!). This doesn't make any sense to me considering my boat is only getting older and is depreciating in value!!! Before I pay it I would like to check out other insurance companies to compare prices and hopefully switch to a different provider. Who do you all use??? Any ideas/suggestions???

Thanks,
Rich

If you tell Progressive you boat does not exceed 70mph try them they are pretty reasonable.

Call Stephanie at Jackson Marine Insurance. Go to the events section and look under the Thunder on the Bay event thread. Her phone number/email address is in there.

Have two boats (40' flybridge and 18 Classic) and done lots of insurance shopping. Progressive continues to be most aggressive with their low pricing and often the most lenient on surveying, if required. The only ones I've found to be competitive are local 'mom&pop' type insurance carriers in your immediate vacinity. Good Luck!

Try your Farmers Ins. Group agent in your area. (If they operate in your state.) They have gave me a great rate on my 26ZX.
