This F22 is realy cool. Does any one know how many years it was made? and was it the predecessor of the 22 2+3, or were they both offered back then? or what year was the change over. Any one have a pre-1980 22' 2+3? or a F22 made after 79 ??
Interesting (new) old models keep showing up.

Richard,
You found an F-22?????
I think they only made them one ore two years. They are a great looking boat. Look just like the 22 classic and same seating. But alot higher cockpit sides. I guess there a cross between a 22 Classic and a Minx.

I looked at one about 13 years ago in Brick Twp. NJ. It was a 1979, Big Block with a TRS drive.

Let me know if you are going to buy this boat. If not I would be interested in it myself.

Can you get pictures?

Thanks (NJ)Scott

Scott, Sorry, i did not find one for sale. I was refering to Mark Haynes' 79 F22 in a post prior to this one. I had just looked at his pictures (nice boat) and have never seen one of this model. Its similarity to the 22' 2+3 and Minx surprised me.
Does anyone know when the F22 ended and the 22 2+3 started??? Who has the oldest 22 2+3????

The F22 and the Criterion were made at the same time Both designed by Walt Walters. The cockpits differ but all else is the same including the Gale Banks turbo option. The Minx came several years later. I never saw a f22 with a windshield thoe, sure they made one as a option. They are as rear as the Criterion.
