Howdy,

I'm replacing the Quadraject on my sbc with a Holley 4011. I know there is a bracket needed to make the Holley work with the Merc throttle line. I can't figure out from the catalog descriptions just exactly what I need. Can someone advise me on this? Thanks!

Rex Marine (http://www.rexmar.com) has such a bracket annodized or powercoated in the color of your choice. You will also need the little stainless-steel Merc cable adaptor that they also sell. One other thing that you will need is a dual-feed line for the 4011 Holley as well. Rex sells a really nice one at a good price. The standard Holley dual-feed line won't fit your carb.

Murph,
Please let us know how the swap affects your performance. I must admit, I'm a huge Q-Jet fan....

Holley Marine offers a throttle cable bracket PN 717-5, a Holley Mercruiser linkage kit PN 717-7 and a Mercruiser throttle cable adapter PN 717-11. The first number is pretty much self explanitory i don't know what the last two kits contain. You can order these through summit racing or jegs although they don't keep them in stock. 717-5 lists for something like 45.00, 717-7 is 22.00 i believe and 717-11 lists for 42.00 or so at summit racing.

is the 4011 a spreadbore or squarebore i cannot keep the 4010 and 4011 straight. Holley also makes a throttle cable bracket for the spreadbore, the 717-5 is or a square bore carb. the spreadbore number is PN 717-6
