It's not a Donzi but... well check it out, 11,460 HP. This 110 ft boat runs 63.5 knots (73mph). Imagine sitting in a hot tub while running off to the mediteranian @ 70 mph!!!!

It can be yours for just under $4,000,000.00

The Gentry-Eagle (http://www.gentryeagle.com/) is quite a boat. Tom Gentry (http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0763286.html) built a lot of turbocharged offshore boat engines and campaigned a number of offshore race boats in the 1980's.

It's actually an amazing boat, I was luckily enough to be given a tour of the boat. Didn't leave the dock, but I had a great time looking around in the engine room, and other parts of the boat. Much roomier than what us performance boaters are use to.
It's out of my price range, but I think it would be a good boat for Bryan.

Hey Bryan,

Do you think you could get stuff the nose on this one and get it to spin out?

Thanks for the link to the Gentry Eagle website. My curiosity was killing me. Looks like an amazing boat. I'll have to swing by and take a look at her the next time I'm in San Francisco. I'll be sure to leave my check book at home... I wish! A couple of 22 clasics on deck would make a nice compliment to the Gentry Eagle.

Maybe we could all get together and work out a time share type deal???

I was lucky to tour the Gentry Eagle in 1989 when it was still in the race form at the Offshore World Championships in Atlantic City. Back then, it was mostly fuel tanks and engines. The command bridge was like something out of a futuristic movie. I got to shake Mr. Gentry's hand. Amazing how we take those once in a life-time moments for granted when they are happening.
