Ed,
That is a verrrrry beautiful boat!
Oh, and Thank You! I was afraid I might have to ante up for one of these in order to make certain we had one in the Registry. I was worried that the stripes in the seats would be a wee bit hot after a few minutes in the Florida sun.
Sweeeeet looking Classic!

This new 22 Classic is not my boat but a boat of a club member. We are putting a few custom touches on the boat and more pictures will follow as they are added. Currently it was ordered with the largest K Planes and a special new Mercruiser Bravo X outdrive. A diamond plate finish was added to the engine compartment and as you can see, its a pretty little girl. I don't believe its number one, possibly number two.

Yikes! Get it off that ROLLER bottom trailer
before it ruins your bottom. And yes that one is number one, it was at the dealer meeting doing water demo's. I got 78 on GPS
out of it.

Roller's concentrate the weight of the boat
at the points where they make contact with the
bottom of the boat. They will cause indentations on the bottom of the hull in a
short period of time. A trialer with long bunks will not harm the boat if it is set up
correctly, because it distributes the weight
evenly over the entire bunk. Im sure that
there will be people out there that will say
that they have had a roller trailer for years
and not had any problems but we have repaired
and straightened many at the plant that have
been damaged from this type of trailer.
I would not let my boat stay on one for even
one night, but thats just my opinion of course I could be wrong. (this standard disclaimer should be applied to all of my
posts in this forum! :D )

Ted I would normally heed your opinion. my 16 has a rollar and so does the Corsican. the 16 has been on that trailer for 30 years. But as on thst 22 which has about 32 rollars on it the 16 doesn't have a problem. On thing Our rollars are setup eith the rollors under the stringers. we have always been carefull about placemant on initial setup, as should bunks be.

Randy.
Ps where are the finished pictures of Fast and Beautifull.

Glad I put that disclaimer on that message.
:p Thank's for the compliment on the "fast
and the beautiful! If people were all as
careful as all of us on this site, and took the time to set up trailers the "right way"
then roller trailers wouldnt be harmful to
the boats. Problem is that usually the trailers are set up by some flunkie at the
trailer factory and thus, well you know.
My 22 will be at the labor day Eufalla meet.
No sneek previews before then .
However it sure is tempting to show it off before then! P.S. I dont meen to come across as a know it all in here, just seen alot of
stuff in this business over the years, but
beleive me I learn something new every day.

Just a quick note of information before our New 22 Classic Special Edition owner hears something amiss: The 22 Classic displayed on this thread is not #1.

Mr. DeNoorer opted to go with #2 since he wanted a "fresh" boat, rather than one that had been run at the dealer meeting. Regardless, Donzitester is right about performance and the beauty of this edition.

Thanks for your help Donzitester!

Number one was incorrectly reported to me as being a 18 footer with a 496.
Got to make sure that the people invited to the Donzi University are paying attention and not sleeping!!!
I almost had an arguement with the person in question, but held my tongue...

No... #1 is still looking for a home! She's sweet and cuddly, likes to play, and listens well to her master!

Any takes... let me know!
