finally got some postable pictures of the 1973 21' GT I bought at an auction this fall. Going to try to keep this as original as possible.

Danny, great looking boat !!! I can hear the waves of Georgian Bay calling; or is that just the sound of the ice moving around ??? Are you sure you want to sell your 16', make a great father, son combo !!

Ross
Father/ daughter combo is more likely.
Kate turns 16 in May and somehow she has gotten the idea that the 16 would be a most appropriate sweet 16 present.

Good Luck! Did you get it at the marina near the corner of HWY 12 and the Midland turn off? We'll have to hook up for a ride this summer. Looks great. ;)

Danny, Nice GT, good luck on the restoration. I'm thinking of bringing my 22 up this summer to check out the Trent Severn. I thought I would stay in a central spot and trail the boat to differant locations. Someday I want to do the complete waterway by boat. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks Jerry

Try this site http://www.ftsw.com I have only been from Port Severn, {on Georgian Bay} to Orillia {on Lake Couchiching ,Tru Jack know his way around there}on the Trent. Only about a 25 mile car ride. Beautiful country, locks, marine railway, but slow going and busy especially on the weekends in July and August. It is the kind of trip I would do one way, you get someone to deliver your truck/car/trailer to your destination and then you boat there and then you don't have to double back and you get to see more.
Lots of good day trips out of Penetanguishene, Parry Sounds too many great spots on Georgian Bay to list. A trip to the world famous Henry's Fish Restaurant in Sans Souci, nice day trip from from my place if the weather is good. Some good B&Bs around town as well.
I'll be here all summer let me know when you are passing by and we will find some way to entertain you.

Danny, Thanks for the invite. I've been to Honey Habour twice, with frends that have injoyed the area for the past 25 years. I can remember having my out drive fixed after running aground(rocks are not forgiving). My dauter is thinking our 16 would be a nice gift, as yours does. If you and some frends are planning on going to aoth, we could all meet in Cincinnati, AM on the 9th for the last lag. Last year we had Four boats, maybe Ten this year.

Thanks Jerry

Jerry, I'm on Lake Couchiching in Orillia, just south of Georgian Bay, and connected to Lake Simcoe. Beautiful area and great boating. Definately get in touch before your trip, and i'll do what i can to make your stay enjoyable. I think more American's should come up, you can't beat the $ exchange. ;)

I just got back to my office from Honey Harbour. It's about 10 degrees C and sunny, it was absolutely georgeous, wish I'd had a boat in the water.
We live in Midland but our summer place is on an island about 4 miles from Honey Harbour. We may have mutual friends in Honey Harbour.
There are a few people from this area on the Donzi site.
Hope you are having a good Thanksgiving.
